UK Board

VSO was established in 1958. Since then we've grown from a tiny, London-based organisation (run from a kitchen table – literally) to the world's largest independent volunteer sending agency. VSO has evolved into the VSO federation, with members in the Netherlands, the Philippines, Kenya and here in the UK.

The UK Board supports VSO's management team. The Board's formal role is to oversee the development and management of VSO's activities in the UK, ensuring they contribute to VSO's international vision and purpose.

The UK Board is made up of:

  • Sir Andrew Cubie – Chair of the UK Board
Former Chairman and Senior Partner, Fyfe Ireland WS

  • Victoria Anderson
