International volunteer placements are at the heart of many of our partnerships, giving employees the opportunity to develop new skills and helping companies to develop their workforces while contributing towards VSO’s fight against poverty.
We place skilled workers from a variety of professional backgrounds with VSO partner organisations both overseas and here in the UK. Our flexible employee volunteering schemes, can be designed for groups or individuals and include robust assessment and comprehensive training for all participants.

In addition to our standard placement, VSO are now offering new more flexible shorter-term volunteering assignments. These more agile, 6-8 week roles complement our long term volunteering work and are structured to deliver specific development needs for example in IT, strategy, finance, HR, business development and management, and marketing.
