The Challenge

Accenture Global Challenges

"Without a doubt one of the best things I have ever done in my life - it was absolutely incredible! The scenery is the best I have seen anywhere in the world... It's a huge challenge and something I will never forget"
Jonathan Hare, Analyst

Accenture and VSO have worked together in a symbiotic partnership since 1999, with Accenture being a founding partner in the VSO Business Partnership Scheme (VBP). To date, 118 employees from 14 Accenture offices have gone overseas with the VBP scheme. In addition, since the start of 2006 the Accenture Corporate Citizenship Foundation has directly championed VSO's Secure Livelihoods development goal.

You will be joining a team of trekkers to go on one of the greatest challenges of your life, a sponsored climb to expedition base camp of Everest in the stunning Khumba region of the Nepalese Himalaya, home to the Sherpas and the site of three of the world's seven highest mountains.

The trek will be followed by a visit to a VSO project in Kathmandu.
