Active Communities
Active Communities Members are those supporters that are passionate about increasing public understanding of global issues and building support for development from the UK.
Ranging from returned volunteers to educational professionals to community group leaders we assist hundreds of people with exciting events and programmes all across the country.

Our current hot topic
World AIDS day is fast approaching on December 1st 2009 and we want as many people as possible to be involved. We've created a range of easy-to-use resources, including videos, slideshow presentations and activities, which you can use to tell others about HIV and AIDS and get them taking action.
Our Upcoming Events
Our network of Action Speakers are trained to deliver information about development and key issues to school and community audiences.
We're looking to recruit new speakers next year at our Action Speaker Training Days. These will be held at our London offices in February and April 2010.
