Fundraise for VSO at your university
VSO understands students. We know that your time at university will be some of the best years of your life and we want to make it even better. Fundraising and volunteering are two ways you can enhance your time there, making friends for life, creating memories that you won't forget and making a difference by helping VSO fight poverty.
Fundraising and volunteering for charity are't just about what we get from you. You'll also be improving and developing your CV and gaining skills for life. Whether you go it alone and hold your own event, get involved through your university RAG, volunteer as part of your course requirements or set up your own VSO society, we're here to help.
Challenge events
Join one of our exhilarating challenge events this year. We're working with Student Adventures to bring you two awesome and breath-taking challenges for summer 2012 – an expedition to Everest Base Camp and a charity car rally across Europe to Slovakia in Bratislava or Bust. So what are you waiting for? Get your mates on board and sign up today by heading to Student Adventures Challenges.
Get your RAG involved too – we're working closely with RAGs to create challenge teams. So head to your student union and ask your RAG if they're working with Student Adventures. If not, we'll happily come along and showcase our events so just let us know when and where, and we'll be there!
Raise and give for VSO – Information for RAGs
VSO’s Student Programme is especially designed to help RAGs fundraise for VSO. We've put together a comprehensive programme of events so that there is something for every RAG, no matter how big or small.
Support is just around the corner; you have dedicated student team at VSO to help you fundraise and fight poverty at the same time.

Nominate VSO for RAG charity of the year
Every year, your university RAG will choose a small number of core charities to raise money for. We'll apply to as many as we can, but some are by student nomination only, so we need you. We're more than happy to supply all the information you need to pass onto your RAG, so get in touch.
RAG raid street collections
Can you spare a Saturday out with your RAG or a group of friends? We'd love you to raid in aid of VSO. We'll provide you with stickers and leaflets to distribute whilst you're out on the streets. We can also provide permits and book locations especially for you. For a list of the current permits, check the box on the right-hand side of this page. If you'd like to take one with your RAG, then don’t hesitate to get in touch and email the student team today.
