Run for VSO
Run for VSO and every step you take will be a step closer to helping us fight poverty. Whether you are an experienced runner, looking for a challenge or a complete novice running for fun, taking part in a run for VSO will be a truly rewarding experience.
Why run for VSO?
By fundraising for VSO you’ll be helping us continue to work in more than 30 of the world’s poorest countries. VSO believes that real, sustainable and long-term development can only be made through the power of people, working together at grassroots level to empower impoverished communities to stride out and breakdown the barriers of poverty.
By running for VSO, you’ll be striding out with us in the fight against poverty.
For more details of the runs we already have places for, visit the running events page.
Own place runs
If you are lucky enough to have secured your own place on any run across the UK – no matter how big or small – we would love you to run for VSO to help raise awareness of our work, as well as raise valuable funds to keep our projects going. We’ll help support you in your training, fundraising and all your pre-run activities with our special VSO resources for runners, so please let us know.
Information for RAGs and university teams
We know that as students you've got the energy, drive, motivation and enthusiasm to run for charity, but struggle to get places through ballots. That's why we're offering places specifically to RAGs. So if you'd like to put together a RAG team for one of our runs, email to register your interest.Information for running, sports and workplace teams
If you are part of a running team, or would like to form your own team of runners, then please get in touch. Our aim is to get as many people as possible out there and running to fight poverty.
