Fareham and Gosport

Our group supports VSO by organising a variety of events, meetings to support outgoing, serving and return volunteers.  Promoting volunteering, fundraising and increasing understand of Global Issues. The Fareham and Gosport Supporter Group meet four times a year however the members communicate with one another quite often by e-mail on various topics. We are primarily focused with fund-raising, communicating with locally based overseas volunteers and with advertising VSO in the local community. We are members of a registered Group of two local community associations, Community Action Fareham and Gosport Voluntary Action. We are also registered as members of the Home Office Compact scheme in both Fareham and Gosport. We also get support from some local Scout Groups and from churches and we write about VSO in a local parish magazine.
