Adrenalin

VSO's Adrenalin event is aiming to be the skydiving event of the year. The money raised will provide vital funding for our work in helping some of the poorest people in the world make lasting improvements to their lives.
Just think: the thrill, the calm, the view - and the sense of achievement. There's nothing like it. Especially when your friends or family are there to share the excitement, and you’re surrounded by people like you taking up the challenge to make a difference.
What a rush! It has to be one of the most exhilarating experiences I have ever had!
The specifics
Technically the jump you will be doing is called a 'tandem skydive'. It is a skydive because you will be freefalling through the air (without the parachute deployed) for several thousand feet; it is in tandem because you will be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor at all times throughout the descent.
When?
The jump dates are Saturday 10 - Sunday 11 September 2005. Across the two days, 100 VSO supporters will be jumping - are you going to be one of them?
Where?
The parachute jumps will take place at Hinton Skydiving Centre, Brackley, Northants.
How much?
- Entry fee: £25
- Minimum sponsorship: £375
The fundraising target may sound like a lot, but your own online fundraising page with Justgiving means you can meet this target surprisingly quickly with minimal effort. Last year, one of our supporters raised £300 simply by sending some e-mails with a link to his page.
