VSO works in education in 21 countries.

VSO education volunteers work with colleagues locally to support them to improve their teaching methodologies and practices. You could also be working with government (centrally or regionally) on curriculum development and school management or even working to advocate for better benefits for teachers. You work could be to support the delivery of quality primary education to all by 2010.
