Royal Parks Half Marathon

This is a terrific event, taking you through some beautiful scenery through central London's Royal Parks. You can download the route map below.

We have 10 places to run for VSO at the Royal Parks Half Foundation Marathon and are now recruiting.

If you would to join our running team, please let us know by emailing events@vso.org.uk or ring us on 020 8780 7412. You will need to register before Friday 20 August.

We ask our runners to raise a minimum of £400, easily achieved with the support and ideas we can give you with your fundraising.

Why support VSO?

If you choose to run for VSO, the money that you raise will go towards our work in over 40 of the world's poorest countries where our volunteers make a lasting contribution in the fight against poverty.

How much will I have to fundraise?

If you register for a VSO place we ask our runners to raise a minimum of £400, easily achieved with the support we offer. We will not charge you a registration fee.

£400 could pay for a VSO child health specialist for three months, teaching future doctors and nurses.

What support will I receive?

If you choose to run for VSO we will be on hand to provide you with all the fundraising and training support that you may need. You will also receive:

• a VSO fundraising pack

• a VSO training programme 

• a VSO running t-shirt

• On the big day - a crowd of enthusiastic VSO supporters to cheer you on!
