Christmas Concert by Candlelight

St Martin's Logo

VSO is once again returning to the magical St Martin-in-the-Fields church for its annual Christmas concert on Thursday 2nd December.

We look forward to welcoming again the charismatic conductor, Hillary Davan Wetton, and the very talented City of London choir for an evening of traditional Christmas carols, as well as an exciting performance from Surahata Susso, a kora player from The Gambia.

We are also delighted to welcome Zoe Wanamaker CBE* to this year’s event, who will be sharing with us some humorous and heartfelt stories from our volunteers.

We also hope that you’ll take part in this year’s exciting Christmas raffle, for the chance to win great prizes for friends, family or to even treat yourself! Prizes on offer include:

  • A luxury chocolate and coffee hamper, courtesy of Divine Chocolate and Union Roasters.

  • A top of the range Specialised Vita or Specialised Sirrus bicycle (adapted to fit the prize winner), courtesy of Putney Cycles.

  • Dinner, cocktails and wine for two at one of London’s top Indian restaurants, Mint Leaf

Sponsor logosOur evening would simply not be possible without the continued generosity of our sponsor NASUWT, the teaching union, helping us to raise substantial funds to support our education work around the world.

By attending the concert, you are also doing your bit to help us sustain our volunteer programmes in the future so a huge thank you in advance for your generous support.

Concert tickets and raffle tickets can be purchased here or by calling our box office call centre on 0208 780 7500.

The concert is always a sell-out so do book early to avoid disappointment.
