Who can apply?
UK Citizens
- Any UK citizen aged 18-25 who attended EITHER secondary school OR university in the UK is eligible to apply.
- Any UK citizen aged 18-25 who did NOT attend secondary school/university in the UK must have been resident in the UK for at least 12 months immediately prior to application.
EEA Citizens
- EEA citizens aged 18-25 wishing to apply must have been resident in the UK for at least one year immediately prior to application.
All Applicants
- You need no formal skills, experiences or qualifications to apply for Global Xchange
- All applicants MUST be living in the UK from the start of the assessment period until the date of departure. For our September 2008 programmes, assessment days begin in April 2008
- All applicants must be able to support and guide their counterparts in the UK phase, and are therefore required to have a good grasp of English
- Global Xchange aims to reflect the diversity of UK society, in geographical, social and ethnic background and gender. We welcome applications from young people who have a disability
Non UK/EEA citizens
- If you are a non-UK/EEA citizen, you may still be able to take part in Global Xchange.
