Exchange Themes
Each Exchange has a theme. These themes are decided on by the Global Xchange partners, and usually address the core areas of these organisations' work. Sometimes the theme may influence the type of volunteer placements you have or the focus for your community action days. The theme can also serve as a focus for volunteers' learning.
In the past themes have varied from HIV & AIDS, Disability, Participation and Governance, and Community Cohesion/Interfaith work. You will learn more about the themes on the current exchanges after you apply to the programme.
