We're a group made up of former volunteers, potential volunteers, VSO staff and people just curious about the work of VSO, living in and around West London. Our aims are to bring together like-minded people to assist VSO by organising fundraising, recruitment and awareness-raising events in our local area. We're also a sociable bunch - keen to share volunteering experiences with each other and anyone else who wants to find out more!
In the past year we have coordinated an HIV and AIDS awareness stall at a university, an international music event, a fundraising and recruitment stall at the Great British Beer Festival, have provided a VSO presence at the Trade Justice Parade and have organised various social events.
When and where we meet
We communicate regularly by e-mail to organise events and activities. We are always keen for new ideas so let us know what you’d like to do to support VSO. All are invited to be part of the group so please get in touch.
