Health

VSO has nine programmes across Africa and Asia working in health and social wellbeing.
Our health volunteers come from a range of backgrounds, including doctors, nurses and allied health professionals as well as people in a management position. VSO strives to improve the quality and availability of these services by strengthening the capabilities of health and social work professionals. Tasks are varied, your job may be teaching others how to better manage a care facility, or supporting the delivery of urgently needed care. You could also be promoting the voice of disadvantaged users when health and social services are being planned and delivered.
