Welcome
"You give a lot, but you gain so much more"
VSO is an international development charity working to tackle disadvantage in the world’s poorest countries. We do this not by sending money, but by sending people.
If you're a business, education or health professional looking for a unique challenge, your skills could make a valuable difference to local communities.
We're asking you to commit 2 years of your time to work on meaningful projects overseas. It may well be the most challenging and rewarding experience you’ll ever have.

VSO currently has 1,500 international volunteers working and living around the world, 50 of whom are Irish. Volunteers use their experience in business, education, health and community development to share skills and build capacity in the world’s poorest countries.
