International Programmes Group Director, Penny Lawrence, is to move on after 18 years with VSO

Penny Lawrence announced today that she will be leaving VSO in February 2006 to take up a new post as International Programmes Director and Deputy Director of Oxfam.
Penny has contributed enormously to VSO at all levels in the 18 years she has been here, and over the last six years she has led our international programmes with great skill and vision.
Her challenging new role with Oxfam is an even greater opportunity for her to influence positive change in the lives of poor people around the world, and her appointment provides deserved recognition of her skills, achievements and potential.
We wish her all the best for the future and in her new role.
