Watching the sun rise over African plains from the summit of the highest freestanding mountain in the world is an experience that will literally take your breath away. But you'll be struck by unmissable sights as soon as you arrive, from the beauty of the African bush through the haunting spirit of Maundi Crater to the astonishing Zebra Rock before passing through the Saddle, overlooked by the magnificent Mawensi and Kibo peaks.

Another unforgettable experience will be provided by a visit to the Namanga School on the Kenya/Tanzania border. Here you'll see at first hand how VSO volunteers are helping improve the life chances of children and the aspirations of teachers. It's a unique opportunity to meet some of the people you're helping by doing the VSO Kilimanjaro Challenge.

To take part in VSO's Kilimanjaro Challenge we ask for a deposit of £199, with £3200 to be paid later (either funded by yourself or through fundraising).
