Serving volunteers

If you are a serving volunteer you can access The VolZone, a constantly developing password-protected resource for volunteers, packed with country briefing material, training information, health advice and more.

You can get the username and password for The VolZone from your volunteer handbook, by contacting your placement advisor or by e-mailing volzone@vso.org.uk.

Returned volunteers

We also have a wealth of resources for our returned volunteers (RVs). If you have just returned from abroad and are looking for advice on careers, settling back into 'normal' life or ways of staying involved with VSO including revolunteering, then visit The RVZone.

You'll need a username and password to access this area, which you can get by e-mailing us at rvinvolvement@vso.org.uk.

On this site you can also find out more about our global community of returned volunteers - where people have served and where they are now. If you'd like to be part of this community and we don't have your details, then please fill in our RV information update form.

RVs Connected has recently been upgraded to make it more user-friendly for you. For a limited time it will be free, not only to register, but also to search for long lost friends and colleagues. RVs Connected was set up in response to the many returned volunteers who have asked us for help in renewing old contacts and making new ones, either for fun and friendship or to enlist personal and professional support and help with particular initiatives. So why not get re-connected?

It is a simple-to-use interactive zone for anyone wishing to contact RVs by e-mail, from old acquaintances to serving volunteers, or those who just want to find out more about aspects of volunteering before taking the plunge!
