This Powerpoint presentation tells you all about how the coffee trade affects people in developing countries, in particular Rwanda. As well as meeting the coffee growers themselves, you'll learn all about how coffee is produced, who's in charge of the global trade in coffee, and what Fairtrade is and the benefits it brings to coffee growers. You'll also find out how trade rules decided by rich countries keep poor countries poor. It lasts about half an hour.

Anyone who has read the booklet should feel confident enough to lead the presentation. It includes detailed notes and suggestions for activities to help you to tailor the information to your own needs and audience. It covers the global coffee trade; Fairtrade; the impact of trade rules and of Fairtrade on coffee growers; how coffee is produced and how to advocate fairer trade rules.
