Become a partner

Angelica Wagiu (Indonesia - Health)

Our Diaspora Volunteering Programme (DVP) is a way for dispora communities in the UK to volunteer their skills and knowledge in their countries or communities of heritage.

There are two main types of partnerships under our Diaspora Volunteering Programme.

Capacity building partnership
We will provide you with capacity building support in volunteer management systems (including monitoring and evaluation, volunteer recruitment and training). We also help you with organisational development, fundraising training and raising development awareness in the UK.

We currently have funding from Big Lottery Fund to build the capacity of England-based organisations. If you are interested in this opportunity please email us at diasporaUK@vso.org.uk.

Funding partnership
We will support partners by funding some aspects of their volunteering programme. The partner will also receive capacity building support. A funding partnership will depend on evidence and commitment to capacity building. Eligibility is decided through an assessment process and meeting of relevant criteria.

Until further notice we not accepting new funding partners. Please check back on our website for updates.
