VSO offers a wonderful opportunity for those who want to make a change in their lives and also volunteer overseas. VSO offers you the opportunity to both change your life and to help change the lives of some of the poorest people in the world.
Every year, VSO sends out hundreds of highly-trained professional volunteers to more than 40 countries. They undertake placements in countries such as Kenya, Ethiopia, India, Bangladesh and Indonesia. The volunteers work abroad alongside local partners to share skills with a locally trained counterpart.
VSO recruits volunteers in Canada, Kenya, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Ireland and India, as well as from the United Kingdom.
VSO volunteers have their living expenses covered including flights, accommodation and a local living allowance.
