Student Volunteer
Are you willing to lend your time and talent to the fight against global poverty? As a volunteer you can fulfil your desire to make a meaningful contribution to communities in need.
Our two youth programs provide the 18-25 year olds the opportunity to work directly with local community members on specific projects.
The Global Xchange Youth Exchange program involves a two-part placement: three months in the UK and three months in a developing country. For the duration of the exchange, you will have a partner from the other country, and together you will work on a team of up to 18.
Global Xchange Youth Action, part of the International Citizen Service (ICS) program, is for three months in a developing country only.
The Youth for Development program sends you overseas for 12 months, to put your particular development skills to work in areas of dire need.
