Do something worthwhile this Valentine's Day
They say that Love changes everything. Our volunteers find real meaning and a deeper love for their profession when they change and transform the lives of people, and help to build a better future for the poorest, disadvantaged, vulnerable and excluded men, women and children across the world.
Volunteering from the heart
Our volunteers share their professional skills, knowledge and experience with others and make a real and sustainable difference because their knowledge will be passed onto those they work with, and to the people they work with, long after they return to the UK.
Embracing new horizons
It's not just poor and disadvantaged communities who experience this lasting difference. Our volunteers return with a new perspective on life, more developed professional and personal skills that they can apply to their careers and lives, as well as unforgettable experiences and memories that will stay with them forever.
Many of our volunteers go on to volunteer again. Many pursue a career in a totally new direction, and many go on to more senior positions in their career.
Chocolates and roses
are for Valentine's day, but we can give you a comprehensive package including a local living allowance, return flights and visas, accommodation and full medical insurance. When you return home, we'll help and support you to resettle, and many of our returned volunteers stay involved with us long after their placement ends.
