Volunteer Abroad VSO is the world's largest independent non-governmental network of grassroots workers.

With its headquarters in London, VSO facilitates volunteering opportunities abroad for adults aged 18-75 in a wide variety of roles and in more than 40 countries.

VSO sends more than 450 people to volunteer abroad each year to contribute to development efforts targeted at AIDS and HIV projects, people with disabilities, economic development, education, health care and participation in government.

VSO programmes are developed in collaboration with local community groups to ensure their sustainability and long-term viability.
