The International Citizen Service is a government funded programme for 18-25 year olds. You'll have chance to work together with people your own age on important development projects.
VSO knows that young people have the skills and energy needed to make a real difference in the fight against poverty. We run a programme which aims to put young adults at the centre of efforts to tackle poverty and inequality. You can read more below.
VSO ICS
If you are aged 18–25, you can volunteer on our VSO ICS programme
International Citizen Service (ICS) is funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) and run by six of the most respected names in international volunteering, led by VSO.
VSO ICS gives young people a chance to volunteer overseas for three months. They will join other young people to work on important projects in developing countries.
