Teaching and education
VSO works in education in 17 countries. Our education volunteers are part of a global effort to make sure every child can access quality primary education by 2015.
Roles
You'll be working alongside local colleagues, helping them develop their teaching methodologies and practices. That might mean helping teachers across several schools to build their confidence in the classroom. It could mean working with education authorities on curriculum development and school management. You might even work to make sure teachers are better valued, developed and supported.
Opportunities in Rwanda in 2013
VSO is working with partner aid organisations and the Government of Rwanda to ensure quality basic education for all. We need passionate education professionals to fill a range of one to two year volunteer placements starting in September 2013 to help transform education in Rwanda. Knowledge of French would be particularly useful for these roles. Visit our Education Rwanda page for more details.
