Primary teachers

Primary teachers are needed to play a critical role improving the quality and access of primary education in countries such as Ghana, Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Nepal and South Sudan.

Placements involve developing the skills and confidence of teachers who have had very little formal training. You will be encouraging teachers to make the most of their resources, developing child-centred learning materials and enabling them to transform classrooms into vibrant learning environments. VSO has a long and successful history of placing teachers overseas and we'll be there to support you to make the most out of these rewarding opportunities.

We have a large number of 12-24 month placements available for teachers with at least two years' experience.
