After the programme
Volunteers are invited to the Returned Volunteer Weekend, a 2-day course held in December. The course provides an opportunity for returned volunteers to share their experiences and learning and provide feedback to VSO.
Returned volunteers are highly encouraged to stay involved with VSO after the completion of their placement!
There are lots of ways that returned volunteers can stay involved:
- Get involved in awareness raising activities
- Give talks about the programme to promote youth volunteering
- Get involved in selecting new volunteers
- Join one of VSO’s Local Groups
- Become a trainer for the YfD programme
